Melissa joins forces with innovative retailer and global fashion brand - Opening Ceremony - on a new footwear collection. Founded by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon in 2002, Opening Ceremony blends the worlds of style, travel and culture through their spirit of exploration and friendship. Melissa and Opening Ceremony’s collaboration celebrates the brands’ shared mission of connecting with the world’s creative youth. Opening Ceremony delved into the archives to revisit some of Melissa’s most classic silhouettes and revive them with an unexpected, textural twist. The fisherman netting marries into the feminine silhouette with a fresh, vibrant summer color palette. "We are so excited to partner with Melissa this season," says Carol Lim, co-founder of Opening Ceremony. " When Humberto and I visited Brazil in 2002, we discovered this super comfortable, creative footwear brand and have admired Melissa ever since. This collection marks our first collaboration together and celebrates the youthful, spirited aesthetic of both brands."

The selection features a mix of bright color blocking and neutral classics designed to let one’s individual style shine through.  Each style features Melissa’s signature vegan plastic material, providing a playful and versatile offering for summer.
