Melissa celebrates over forty years of legacy through the debut of 'The Real Jelly' collection, a new assortment of styles giving homage to the brand’s signature jelly aesthetic. The celebratory campaign echoes the brand’s motto “We made the first Melissa. You made it original.”

Melissa launched in 1979, the brand is part of the Brazilian footwear group, Grendene. Now present in more than 70 countries, its creation was inspired by the footwear worn by French Riviera fishermen. The first model baptized the Spider quickly gained popularity in the country. In the last decade alone, Melissa manufactured more than 32 million pairs of shoes.

Melissa is also renowned for its perfume design and accessories like bags which have already become iconic. One of the first brands in the world to promote collaborations, it is proud to have worked with great names of the fashion world like Jean-Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood, Jeremy Scott, and Vitorino Campos. Always avant-garde, Melissa goes beyond the fashion sector and even has collections devised by artists like the Brazilian designer IrmĂŁos Campana and the British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid.
